Stagecoach Theatre Arts have been nurturing and developing young people's potential for over 21 years. With over 700 schools worldwide and more than 40,000 students, Stagecoach is the longest running and most successful performing arts schools network in the world. We not only deliver quality performance arts training but ensure that each child gets the most out of their experience by building life skills and confidence while having a lot of fun and meeting new friends. Every student from aged 4-18 years participates in each of the three musical theatre disciplines - Drama, Dance and Singing. Each three hour session for 6-18 year old is split into three 1-hour classes, where young people get the chance to learn each skill in small class sizes of similar ages. Children aged 4-6 years are introduced to Stagecoach through Early Stages classes which run for a shorter period of 90 minutes, split into three 30 minute sessions in dance, drama and singing. As we keep class sizes small (15 maximum) we are able to nurture young raw talent alongside encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence building. Often copied, but never equalled, Stagecoach has remained the market leader for children's performing arts, reaching beyond the scope of normal after-school clubs. In addition to the opportunity for students to take internationally recognised examinations, young people get regular reports and awards for long standing achievement. There is also the option for students to audition for professional work in film, theatre and modelling via the Stagecoach Agency. The Stagecoach Charitable Trust was set up in January 2000 to spread the benefit of acting, singing and dancing beyond Stagecoach's traditional classes. Often children and parents can be dissuaded from joining a 'mainstream' group because they cannot afford the fees, because the group either doesn't cater for 'special needs' or because they fear being different from the majority of people within the group. The most significant difference of the Stagecoach Charitable Trust's InterAct programme is its total 'inclusivity'. At InterAct, young people are offered the chance to experience the three disciplines not only from a technique point of view, but also from the socialising point of view. One of the most crucial aspects of InterAct is the aim to bring together groups of young people from all backgrounds, to have fun.
